Charge Meter is the third app of its kind that I have any experience with personally. Although similar overall, this one outshines the other two because of two simple things: It shows an estimation of real-time current (in or out) in milliamp-hours (mah), as well as in watts. Lastly, I like that the record high/low levels of current your phone has been charged at don't get erased when you exit the app. The only con: App shuts-down if I attempt to activate the 80% charged notification.

This is a nice battery status app that does what a number of other similar apps do, but displays the info on a single uncluttered screen. The amperage readings are not averaged over a few seconds to smooth the value, thus they jump all over the place--but that's what the system's power usage is. Please add a settable 3-5 secs moving average to display a more meaningful value to calculate the remaining on time. Finally, the battery percentage displayed is totally wrong, in the billions %!

I just wanted a free app to simply show volts & amps whilst charging / discharging. I tried about 6 different apps, but the constant ads popping up had those uninstalled within minutes. This one was looking good for the first few days, then the most annoying pop-up ads were all over the place making it useless also! I just uninstalled it.
