Don't Touch The Spikes

This is my most played game. I didn't originally have a review but I'm leaving a 3 star bc the new life system is tedious. The extra pop up makes restarting after dying take longer than I want it too. Can you just add the revive button as an option that shows up along side the restart? Idk. This is a game that really deserves the simplest possible presentation. It shines that way. Have played since highschool, have spent money.

although the game was in an awful state for a while, it seems all the problems've been fixed! it was a joy to install the game and see that everything is right again. for those who weren't there the problem was that they made all the birds free for a while which destroyed progression in the game. and now it's back! I'm not sure whether the problem with ads have been fixed as I think I paid to disable ads at one point. or there just aren't any somehow. anyway, give this game a chance! it's fun!

(UPDATED) Update broke the game at some point, there are ways of getting the last unaffected version (1.9.10) from online but I don't think Google likes me mentioning them. It was about unplayable when I posted (Nov 2024) but now (2/27/25) they fixed it partially. They fixed the speed of the bird, but the weird graphical things are still here and it's now stuttering badly on my phone. On a better phone it may run fine but I'm just gonna update this to three stars and use the old version myself.
