Have tried many other apps, I found this one the best. I know it since its first stammerings. Never been disappointed by it. Runs smoothly: no flaws that turn your experience to a nightmare driving to, as ultimate solution, to uninstall it. Just real pleasure playing chess. Graphics are truely superb giving the sentiment of playing on a real hardboard chess. I do like the different levels of difficulty letting everyone, from beginner to expert to use it. Deserves 5 stars+1! Recommend it to all.

very good, the levels are very realistic, and the games menu layout is easy to use. I have just looked at other reviews and found a lot of people complaining that they are unable to win at grand master, has anyone achieved this? I've been playing chess for 3 months (I mean, seriously) it took me 30 games (1 month) roughly to get to grandmasters level and been stuck on it for about 1 month, I don't mind as im learning plus I can go bk down if I want but just curious.

It's all great till you accidentally press the back button or the menu button, and your game is gone. It never warns you that you're about to leave the game, and worst of all, it does not save the game state at all (In both single and multiplayer). Outside of that, the graphics look great, and due to its 2D nature, power consumption is very low. The game is solid and I've never seen it crash, but the lack of a save game and how easy it is to get ejected from the game is a frustrating experience
