I loved SwiftKey since I found it in 2010, before Microsoft bought it. It was one of the first to offer learned autocorrect based on your typing. I've had beta for about 6yrs now and it's been better than stable channel. ***UPDATE 06/2025*** I find the predictive text is degrading, and the corrections even worse so. It constantly types misspelled words, even obvious ones. I changed phones and it was great on old, but terrible on new. I restored library but words aren't showing up in suggestions

EDIT; Reducing to 1 star. I was right about the trajectory; ORIGINAL:This used to be a five star app with an uncanny ability to predict what I wanted to type. Now, it fights with me all the time, insisting on correcting properly-typed text into actual gibberish even when I am repeating a phrase it should have learned via personalization. I can't find anything better at prediction or that has arrow keys, so I am sticking with this for now, but I really don't like this app's current trajectory.

I don't know if it is getting worse or better. The predictive text is awful. In practical English you can put an S on nearly everything, but the app is unprepared; same for ly to create adverbs. In general first strokes almost always produce a wrong word. The keyboard doesn't seem to identify stroke pauses or microgestures. Integrated GTP would be cool. Needs better autocorrect, a head to toe overhaul
