Very disappointing experience with this app. tried multiple times to add a bag to my flight, but continually rejected by the payment pathway. Tried contacting support, and they did not help. Only after check-in coming available was I able to pay for another bag. But it cost me twice as much as the previously advertised price. So all in all, a waste of time and money.

Absolutely awful app. Boarding passes are not available offline, which is insanity for a traveling app. When you have connection,loading the boarding passes takes an eternity, delaying the process in the airport. The absolute worst about this app is that if you have a 2 leg flight, after the first leg, boarding passes are not accessible anymore. Have fun figuring out how to get them. I was lucky to have them downloaded, otherwise what do you do?

I love flying with Avianca—their tagline “the sky belongs to all of us” really resonates, and their in-flight service easily deserves 10 stars. The staff is friendly, the rates are fair, and I appreciate the seating options. That said, the app still crashes too often, and the website—while improving over the past 6 months—can be frustrating, especially when trying to make changes. Long phone wait times don’t help either. Still, I’m hanging in there because the flying experience makes up for it.
