This app gets worse with every revision. Now they have decided that every story clicked on must have AUTOPLAY VIDEO at the top. There is no evident setting to alter this behavior. Take a cue from the NBC4 New York app, which thoughtfully provides a setting to turn off autoplay, and CBS News, which doesn't autoplay videos. They're now my local news choices until ABC 7 respects their READERS' preferences.

I honestly appreciate this wonderful ABC Streaming Application platform Video and Audio mobile account for sure!

Don't bother installing, just make a shortcut to the web site instead, which is more responsive, doesn't have permanent navigation bar on top, and the videos can be cast to chromecasr in browser. The only app advantage would be the notifications, but the text on those is oftem cut off, so its unreadable, and they often don't bring you to the article when tapped. It has been this way, and hasn't been fixed, for literally years.
