FreeNow does not offer any riding security. No pin code for collection, can't cancel an ongoing trip, so a driver can tell the app they picked you up and drive away. their customer support takes more than a week to reply, even in emergency scenarios. Taxi driver charged €25 without collecting me, and FreeNow just offered me a €10 coupon, not even refunding the trip. Uber provides a more secure, and global experience. In reply to dev: I've already reached out via the app support, to no help.

There's one thing to know about this app - it's nowhere near "free" and "now" is absolutely irrelevant. There's no support to contact (I don't take the ticketing system into account because that's a ridiculous registration wall), spam after the registration is guaranteed (they sent me 4 different emails between the moment I installed the app and booked my first ride), the cost quote is random (in my case it said £16-22, ended up costing me £30), the vouchers are just a scam. Uninstalling.

It is the umpteenth time I've had issues. I've prebooked a ride. The driver calls shortly before and tells you they won't make it because reasons. Then they tell you they can't cancel the ride, and that's the issue. The customer then has to pay a cancellation fee, and then won't probably find a driver in time like it happened to me just now. Had to order a fixed price taxi, which cost double. Sorry, I can't recommend this platform like this.
