It is fun to see the combinations of monsters you can breed, and challenging to try to get them all. I love that you don't have to spend real money (although a small purchase in the store unlocks "premium" perks such as removing mandatory ads and unlocking items). In-game money can be amassed pretty quickly, even the less common types of currency like diamonds, shards, and relics, so you never really get stuck from advancing. There are seasonal and other challenges that keep things interesting.

This game is definitely not bad, but there also isn't really a point to playing. All you really do is wait and get lucky for rare monsters. there is not really much skill involved other than looking up combos for special monsters and logging in. You can experience most of the game by just watching full island songs on YouTube. the only technical complaint I have is the long load times of going between islands. Overall, good as a time waster, but not something you can get super invested in.

2023: Almost all I got to say Is it's a very good game I'm loving the graphics. But sometimes it crashes for some reason. But overall it's a very cool and fun game, but it won't let me do the cold island conundrum thingy. Edit 2024: I can do the conundrum thing now and there's no more crashing loving the game. 2025: it's no longer crashing its still really fun keeps me occupied and there's a very wide variety of monsters to get.
