They randomly disconnect, requiring deletion from phone memory and full reset of earbud case and Bluetooth setup. This can happen as infrequently as every few month, to less than a week. The "remember my settings" option for sound mode literally has never worked, ever. It says it's in the correct mode, but it's not. It does however work if you manually cycle through the modes every time you put them in your ear. I am using the Quiet Comfort II hardware. App works best when force-quit and reboot.

Don't create an account! It took months of struggling with it before I worked this out. If you log into an account the app only works if you have internet access, so if you're on a flight you can't use the app. If you delete the account and don't sign in then it works offline. Signing in to the account adds nothing, so it's a completely pointless feature that just makes the app unusable. The app design is appalling, the only redeeming feature is that I rarely need to use it.

Inexplicably you need an Internet connection to load the app, but otherwise the app is designed well and bug free in my experience. I would rate it higher but it's not possible to remove immersion mode (which is technically cool, but I can't think of a practical use for), and you can't store EQ profiles - that and requiring an Internet connection makes me question the person designing the app.
